I've found that USPS ships reasonably fast and cheap to Canada for small items. But, large items that require UPS are much more expensive. I've never had anyone complain of excessive time, although there have been delays. My biggest problem has been that my banks have not always accepted either checks or money orders even when drawn in U.S. funds, so I always ask for payment with Canadian Postal Money Orders. I don't buy much from Canada, but one of my friends got stuck with what I thought were rather steep customs charges for a frame and the frame had originally been made in the U.S.!! Similar thing happened to me when buying a Merlin from Germany--I had to pay 11% customs. It all depends on what the paperwork says. Lou Deeter, Orlando FL
