If I were to follow the advice he gives on page 137 for cornering on trikes that most certainly would be the one instance where I would wear a helmet voluntarily without the drill sergeant who leads the biking group I'm riding with having to insist that I wear one.
However, that helmet on the back of the dust jacket is way cool‹looks like the gear they cover your brain with when they throw you in the insane asylum‹quite an appropriate style for the New York City rider. And, pre 1983!!! List appropriate! Where can I get one of THOSE, NOS?
