I'm not aware of the KHS John Howard Pro being a Montrose Cycling Club team bike (doesn't mean anything 'cuz my memory isn't great). But I do remember the beautiful champagne colored Nishikis that were the club team bikes in the mid-late 1970s. Very, very nice frames in a period when Masi was king!
