Another reason, and there are many of them, I am sorry to have missed the VR was Dave Staub being there. Being an easterner we would here tails about fast westerners and in '64 I got a copy of the American Cycling Newletter with Dave and his madison partner on the cover. Still have the Newsletter. You can see it, although not a great scan, at http://photos.yahoo.com/rauler83 and then go to bike racing. Most of the photos in this ablum are mountain bike racing, but when and if I can find my scrap album I will be scanning the photos from the vintage years and up loading them.
