Much to my delight, after a long time looking, I just got myself a Reg Harris bike. The serial number 6475, which might indicate 1964 which must be about the last year of production -- the Reg Harris autobiography is not very good with dates. The wheels are clearly not original; the Campagnolo steel Record derailleur, Universal 61 brakes and Ambrosio bars and stem might be. It has an interesting combination of RH Stronglight 49D with double TA rings and a LH TA crank.

The condition is basically sound but very scruffy. Not surprisingly the Campagnolo rear dropout adjusters are rusted in place -- does anybody know a reliable method of getting these out without breaking them off? This must be a common problem with badly maintained bikes, so I'm sure there is an effective solution out there.
