There is a randonneur tandem for sale on French Ebay. It is quite an interesting bike, showing just how much differently the Europeans approach tandem building. It has 650B wheels, stainless steel low-rider racks front and rear, mudguards, generator lighting front and back. The couple selling it has ridden about 3000 km of whihc 1000 in one ride. You won't see that kind of a description for American tandems.
