Can anyone offer any thoughts on possible differences in riding
characteristics between 531 and 753. My early 80s Italian made Masi uses
753, I`m told. A gentleman at Reynolds also told me that they were
supplying Masi with 753 at that time. It feels light, with nice
springyness over bumps, and smooths out at speed like a thoroughbread. I
don`t have much experience riding on 531. Wondering how that heat treating
may affect the ride as compared.
