I rarely buy on impulse. But I have been looking for a classic white Peugeot in 53cm for a long time. When I saw this one with a $300 buy it now price, I decided I had to risk it. I am relatively certain that it is not a PX10, but can't figure out what it is. So, could I ask those with more knowledge what they think it is?
Year? Frame Material? Purpose (race, touring ...)? What components should be there? What wheel size did it have? Are new decals available if I were to restore it?
I know that I took a risk, and won't be offended if it is junk. But at age 11 my father bought me a jr peugeot racer (white, no chrome, 600 or 650 wheels, mafac and simplex, wingnuts) when we lived in france, and I loved it! This might bring back some of the memories (heck, it already has) from 27 years ago (more than a quarter century).
Your answers are much appreciated (and if you have any parts that you think I might need to bring it back to its pervious form ...)
