........Tom, I also can never quite understand when vendors restrict shipping overseas as the time and effort it takes to pack and post is no different to mailing the parcel inland, the total cost is of course borne by the buyer so it's not extra cost that's involved, Insurance is available on world-wide shipping so that can't be the reason either.
