Hi Toni and welcome to the CR list. You will find varied interest within the group here, while there is a strong following of Italian steel, the British following couldn't be perceived as lightweights. Pun intended. If you have a chance please check out the photos on my yahoo page. There are some British bikes of interest here including Mercian, The Higgins, a gold plated Condor and last but not least a Carpenter. While there is a good bit know about Mercian and Condor I have found very few folks with information the The Higgins, Hillary was most helpful here during the Cirque, and Carpenter. Enjoy and have fun, you have found a home. Welcome aboard Toni! Sounds like you are a strong individualist if you have pursued the British cycles in an environment that doesn't share that interest!

Can we assume from your comments that most of the folk in the Historische Fahrräder club are interested in "antiques" rather than lightweights? Once again, happy to have you with us... Dale
