I wasn't stating that there's anything 'wrong' with the Masi bicycle itself http://ebay.com/<blah the turgid prose in the auction. The title alone "Authentic Masi built by the Master" puts me off. Further mistakes are "Cinelli seat post, headset, fork tips, dropouts, stem and bars" and "Mavic GP4 wheels [rims] with double-cross spoke pattern" (I see 3-cross). I'd be reluctant to send my money off to this guy.

Contrast it with this auction of a Carlton http://ebay.com/<blah its full description and clear, sharp photos. It made me more interested in this brand, and it made me go further to do research at the CR site, a google search, etc.. Also note that there's much more activity on this auction than on that Masi.

Massey Harris? This is the Internet, there's a page for everything! Start at http://www.oldengine.org/members/harrold/mfm.htm#Massey

Roy "isn't Google wonderful?" Drinkwater Lititz,"where the tractors have metal wheels, it's a religious thing" PA

Mark Stevens. Delightful Dingwall. Scotland asked:
>As an ignorant Brit can anyone explain what was wrong with the Masi? Is it
