Jim Merz of Portland Oregon and a contributeur to our classic bike chat line was and is a great builder of fine bicycle frames. Look at this example by him.

The seller wrote this in his eBay description <snip>

"If you were really serious you could upgrade to integrated lever-shifter controls and have the coolest bike on the block."

I personally would like to see this bike go to a good home(read that someone who can live w/o integrated lever-shifter controls) that can appreciate this bike for what it is. IMO it is "COOL" enough.
