Folks, I had my Limited redone by Cyclart in 1989, it is my frame from when I had extra bucks as a 14 year old paper boy (Go San Jose Mercury News!). Purchased new from Stan's (Mumford?) in Cupertino, just around the corner from my house and a block from Spence's shop. Yeah, it wasn't an "A," but they were real nice for the money with the cut-out lugs and all. I equipped it with Universal 68's, TA, etc to be a good "rider." I talked to Albert and he said Bill Stevenson exaggerated in that article. I loved his honesty (?) and I felt I was dealing with a pissed-off master artiste when I got my custom from him in 2000 - YES, he still builds with lugs and he built it 'cause I had them photo-document the process. He's a master, not your best friend. I found his passion refreshing. My Eisentrauts are my favorite bikes and nothing would make me part with them, they rides better than they look and they are real lookers. I'll be sending in new shots to Dale for his Eisentraut page of both frames, hopefully he can post them... I thought VeloSwap was a bust for the most part, the majority of new stuff goes on eBay, I'm sure. I did also enjoy all those Paramounts! At about $2K they were priced correctly for their condition. I walked out of there with < $100 worth of stuff : ( Regards, Bruce Van Remortel, Colorado Springs, CO, 50 and overcast this week with some freezing wx later in the week
