Re: VeloSwap... I hasten to add that it has never been a big or significant Vintage scene. It is rather a overwhelming big dealer/manufacturer/private party dumping of surplus stocks. The vintage stuff has been, at least for the years I attended, a case of finding pearls in the rough! Most of the sales and action are in regular reasonably modern consumer goods. Anyone attending thinking there would be tons of old stuff is bound to be a bit disappointed! That doesn't mean that it is not a good time though! What has made it a fun vintage scene is particularly the appearance of Mike Kone, John Barron, and Greg Parker, and getting to meet other vintage inclined folks (maybe a dozen each year.) Two years ago Mike did a "history of Bicycling" display that was awesome.
