Hi CR List,

A colleague of mine recently showed me a medal that was won by an uncle of his in a 24 hour race in 1892 in South Wales. Ironically the same day we heard that another colleague had just won the UCI World 24hr. MTB race.

Are any of you familiar with the history of these races in the UK at the end of the 19th early 20th century? My colleagues are intrigued.

I have provided a link to the pictures of this medal - they were done in a hurry and not the best quality but kind of fun to look at.
