I think it would be way, way cool if someone were to buy this bike and bring it to the Cirque. It would also be wonderful if Chuck S. were to bring his lovely '60 Superlight to the same event.

Why do I think this? Well, inspired by Chuck's bike, I went nuts earlier this month and ordered a custom Vincitore with track ends for road-fixed use. This one falls into the category of classically-inspired, rather than classic lightweight, but we're talking about a living tradition, right?

Which leads me to throw out a new category for next year's Cirque - modern interpretations of traditional bikes. Somebody's gotta bring a Mariposa with all the rando bells and whistles, for example ... especially cool if it could be shown with some original vintage French rando bikes.
