I took this frame order in Aug. 25, 1982 from a W. P. Magan Jr. The build sheet shows the frame number as WM347 and color is Black Met. I cannot remember ever selling a frame with chrome as shown on this frame. It most likely got plated when it was repainted. I gave my decals to Dean Cannard, (503) 238-0829. Dean took over Dick Speece's paint shop in Portland and is doing great paint jobs.
One point is that this frame was almost the last frame I made in Portland, there were maybe 3 or 4 more only.

I'm positive it is original. It is pearl white and red. The merz logo is cleared over, and the badge on the head tube is original. I think my dad had it made in the seventies. Mention the last name Magan to merz, see if he remembers.
