-- Was wondering if any list members have bought any of the nos falcons from -- Robert Ross.Full 531 frame for $200 doesnt sound to bad?I do have pics from the -- seller if anybody want's them emailed. -- Jimmy Katynski Madison Hts Mi

I've ordered one... don't have it yet. I understand the seller has a lot of 'em -- probably more than enough to go around.

Apparently the frame doesn't have gizmos (braze-ons? I don't know what they're called) on the downtube for shifters to attach. Apparently that means clamps... but will clamps work for downtube indexed shifting?

I am hoping to swap off the parts from another bike which is 8sp indexed DuraA. Come to think, this may create more problems than just attaching shifters. The Falcon is from the 80's, but I don't know if the spread of the rear fork will accommodate 8 speeds.
