Here's the story

if you want the details. If you get one of these DON'T BLAME THE
SENDER virus' these days are very smart and getting smarter. If you
want to keep virus' from effecting your computer there are a few
things you can do.
1. Buy and use virus protection software and update it regularly.
2. Don't use Microsoft Outlook. This piece of software is a virus
builders favorite backdoor.
3. Don't use the Windows operating system. Yes there are virus' for
Linux and Macintosh, but only about 100 total compared to 20,000+ for
windows.
4. Don't join email listserves. Every post you make puts your email
address on all the other members computers to use.
5. Don't open ANY attachments.
6. Stop worrying about it.
Personally, I made the switch to Macintosh in '95 and only use Eudora
and Pine to read email and am on numerous listserves and have no
virus software on my computer with no problems so far, knock on wood.
