I need a couple of items for my loony Moulton MkIII "special" project:
- S-A threaded driver(to mount 2 fixed cogs-13 and 15 - on a FW hub)
- "squashball" rear suspension unit(bike has been disassembled for years-
lost along the way)
By the way, our town has "bulk trash pickup" twice a year, where things
that one used to bring to the dump are picked up and disposed of(the town
dump has been closed for years). Many bicycles end up at the curb, and this
fall I made out well! I brought home a gaspipe Peugeot that for some reason
ended up with a Stronglight 93 crank and a 1960 Schwinn "Racer" that was
fitted with a S-A FW with a 2 speed (16-18) Benelux conversion! The
interesting thing about the wide ratio hub with the two close cogs is that
the ratios work out to essentially a half-step system- 8 non-duplicate gears
that, to get in sequence , you shift like a half-step, treating the rear cogs
as you would ordinarily the two chainrings.
Does anyone have any info on setting up a Cyclo Benelux rear gear?
Best regards,
