It is a common practice for Bianchi for many many years. I know in the early 90s for example . They had a TSX/UL, SBX, SLX. and Pista. no model names. These were the framesets you could purchase. I have a SBX which has served me many miles. My dream bike then was the Bianchi Kronos Time Trial Bicycle. I loved the look of that bike.
