Frames like the one you describe were sold as Carlton "Catalina" models in
the US ca. 1966-1969 or thereabouts. Some were sold by Huffman, and had
Huffy decals on them; don't know if that name is familiar in your land but
it's kind of like a BMW with a Yugo label on the bonnet.
