Hi list, a short message to inform the group that I have stumbled upon a stack of books on the 2000 issue of the TdF. It centres on Team Telekom and its stars Ullrich and Zabel. It´s a nicely made book, 160 pages with hundreds of colour photos, printed on glossy, chlorine free paper and traditionally bound (stitched sheets) in hard covers. Original retail price was around 20 US-dollars (40 Marks). The chap I met will let those books go for 5 US-dollars each.

Disadvantages are: The little text there is is in German, and it´s so big (20 x 30 cm) and heavy (1,300 gms) that postage to the US would be 10 US-dollars.

Anyway, I thought I´d give you a chance, and perhaps there are also members who live closer and will have less postage to pay if they´d like a copy.

And now something else, definitively more on topic. For the restauration of a bike with paintwork which is worth saving I´m looking for a ca. 1958 q/r, small-flange, steel-barrel rear Campag road hub WITH 40 HOLES. The hub should have patina as a new one would stand out. So some flaking on the barrel or marked flanges would actually come in handy. Thanks for your help.

Greetings, Toni, Osnabrueck, Germany.
