Hmmmm, pretty good question sire.

I'd say if the pics. tell all, assume folks will figure it out for themselves, but it's a tough call. There is soooo much misrepresentation on eBay, it's almost comical, so I for one have come to ignore it for the most part and let the pics. do the talking. If they stink, ask for better ones. If better ones aren't forthcoming, move on. A couple of e-mails back and forth with the seller will speak volumes as to his/her level of competence and professionalism. Couple that with an in-depth look at his/her feedback, and you can make pretty darn good judgement calls 99.9% of the time IMHO.

Others' thoughts on this (very valid) concern?
