I just have to take a moment out to thank everyone that has answered my Peugeot questions. The response has been tremendous, including a few folks that have dug through their parts bins (or parts rooms?) to find me almost everything I could need. It is great to know that there are so many willing and knowledgeable people out there to help me put together my dream classic bike. Thanks again to everyone.

Probably the only big question I still wonder about is the spacing of the rear drop-outs. The previous owner seems to have done a careful job spreading them to 130mm. However, I know that left to my own will, it would never have been changed from the original spacing (would it have been 120 or 122?)

Now that I know that I can get the old 5 speed hubs, should I have them reset back to 120mm? My main concern is the issue of risk to the frame. I have a feeling I won't be able to watch it being done, not to mention doing it myself!

Any and all thoughts on this are welcome. Thank you, Dan Kasha Providence, RI Peugeot PR-10L with 3 tubes Reynolds 531 Renforces Orbit Track bike Older Cannondale with lots of nice older components
