I saw several CDI bikes in the 70's having grown up in Fort Worth, Tx. Curry Dist. Co. used to import Sabliere bicycles from France but the one I remember was lugless with a sealed bottom bracket made out of Vitus tubing. Not exactly stiff but beautiful. The other I remember was a series of gun metal grey Liotto bicycles from Italy that were nice lugged frames. The Liotto bikes were rebadged as CDI. I think the Sabiere frames still had the manufacturer's name on them.
I would look at the bikes closely. If it has nice framework, it might be a good deal since I don't remember low line frames with CDI on them.
