I just bought a hand-made NOS Giorgio Siligardi saddle made in the 70's or early 80's. It has a stainless steel frame and is the most beautiful racing saddle that I have ever seen. Back in the 80's they sold for over 200.000 lira (more than $100) each. Every saddle was individually numbered (the one that I bought has serial number 262) If somebody can suggest the best photo hosting service, I'll try and get photos of it and other goodies purchased in Italy on display. I also picked up a 50's or 60's B17 Brooks, a 50's or 60's vintage Bianchi badged saddle, a couple 80's vintage Brooks pro saddles and a 30's vintage Regina roadster saddle with beautiful florial design, however most are still in Italy.
