Any CR member experience with the Altenberger (or GB) Synchron brakesets? I'd like to try them someday but, for the time being, I'll have to content myself with the conventional Altenberger centerpulls and levers that I just put on a "shopfloor and partsbin" build of a Mondia Special.

While we are on the subject of somewhat obscure German components manufacturers, has anyone ever heard of Excel Raceur sidepulls? Did they make anything else?

Anyone ever heard of Excel Raceur sidepulls made in West Germany? Did they make anything else?
