This Moto is frame and fork only and kind of metallic medium blue with a Vitus 888 sticker on the fork. Mark Poore In a snowy Slatyfork, WV DTSHIFTER@aol.com wrote: In a message dated 11/16/02 6:45:51 PM, rauler83@yahoo.com writes:

Mark,

According to Motobecane's literature (but we all know about what appears in the literature!!!) no Grand Jubile was ever offered with Vitus 888. Vitus 888 first appeared (also according to the literature) in model year '79 with the Grand Sprint (3 tubes 888). The Grand Sprint was advertised for the "Junior Racer" and sold in the $280 range, while the Grand Jubile was "designed" for the "demanding rider whose requirements stop just short of a racing model." The Grand Jubile was selling for about $350.00.

I have a first year Grand Jubile with a 3 digit serial number (not that this helps ID yours in any way!!??).

Since your bike is new, what components does it have, and what is the color?

Cheers,
