Subject: [CR]Cyclo saddle bag loops

Aldo Ross asks:

"Anyone still selling those bolt-on saddle bag eyelets that Cyclo used to make?"

My last Cyclo catalog, several years old, showed them as being in production. So, I'm sure they are still available, at least in England.

As to anyone selling them, I assume you mean selling them in the US. I think is is unlikely unless someone like PJW takes the initiative to import them. The problem is that most import products of this type are sold by distributors and most distributors want products with volume!

Specialized did have some Cyclo loops private labeled "Specialized" probably because at that time a fair number of dealers were asking for the product. (Remember that Specialized also private labeled toe strap end buttons, of all things).

My suggestion, buy Cycling magazine and e-mail the various British mail order outfits to try to find one that may still have them.
