Yesterday, raw, cold, wet and snowy out, my 9 year old Aaron and I drove up to Palmer, MA to watch the cyclocross races and attend a small swap meet inside the cafeteria at the Pathfinder High School where the event was held. We've been doing this together for 3 years now and next year he is eligable for the junior class and he and I have decided we are both going to enter our first cyclocross at this event next year.

At the swap there were a mish-mash of old and new, nothing overly spectacular. I did find a nice Brooks Swallow and NOS Campagnolo GS boxed hubset. I also picked up two new Clement Stratos 700x23 clincher tires. Seller had no idea how old or what vintage they were. They are in a neat transparent celluloid package with the "Clement" script all over them. Tires are foldable and quite rerto looking. Anyone on the list know the vintage and anything about their ride quality and durability. The guy had two more which I was tempted to buy but not knowing anything about them I passed and just purchased these two. I did try a web search and found nothing on them.

Thanks in advance for any info,
