I know, I know... I thought twice about writing that, and I should have thought thrice. I've heard you say this before. I know you use the most modern lugged steel materials and techniques for virtually every frame. But even among cyclists, few people have any opinion on what's "new-fangled" and what's "old-fashioned." The vast majority of the people who do are equipment hounds like racers, and they consider steel, especially lugged steel, to be "old fashioned." thanks. but the only concession i make to the ol' fashioned way is that my tubes are joined with lugs. otherwise, they are not made or marketed to invoke the 'past' unless someone specifically orders a retro-ish frame. e-RICHIE ubersensitive in chester, ct!
