Hi group, has anyone ever tried to write up a history of British framebuilding? It should be interesting to read up on the branching out of knowledge and craftmanship from Hodge and Grubb via Butler, Denny, Hill, Berry, and all the others, ending with those names we have heard from / by recently in these pages.

Any clues would be welcome. Or perhaps a project group could be started up, if there are no clues to be given?

Thanks, Toni "pedigree pal" Theilmeier, Osnabrueck, Germany. (Who, by the way, is still looking for the 40 hole steel centered Campy rear hub.)
