I am still trying to decide what crank I should put on my 1970's Peugeot PR10L. It seems it would have had a Stronglight 49D (as seen in the 1974 catalog). But I always liked the Stronglight 93, and am considering "upgrading" to it. The PX's of the era came with the 93.
Can I get some feedback of the relative quality differences between these two cranksets? Is the 49D a steel crank arm? Are there any problem areas or things to watch with either of these? Are there any specific BB concerns?
