How about some facts first ;

Neither Mark Joynt or David Miller or anyone else for that matter, appears to have registered "Hetchins" as a trademark - A current search of the UK (registered) trademarks database proves this in fact not fiction.

UK trademark laws allow a mark - for example "Hetchins" to be "unregistered", but the protection has to be proven in court by the claimant with clear facts about ownership.

Mark registered his limited company "Hetchins Cycles Ltd" which gives him the sole legal right to use that name - not "Hetchins".

He may well not be bothered with all these arguments now anyway, as the current status of his companies are shown as follows, extracted from the UK Companies House database....

Draw your own conclusions, but I guess this argument / discussion could rage on for years and years.....as it has already - well before the CR list even came on scene...
