Ron Cooper was at Gillotts from 1947. That's a good enough connection for me.
It's simply a retro styled frame using modern materials. I have asked Mark for more details as I am seriously thinking of ordering one to sit alongside my old ones. I would change certain details and specify others. It would be an everyday road bike, a Clubmans bike as many Gillotts were. Perhaps I would refer to it as my Omega - Gillott. If I had a Hetchins built by him I could call it my Omega - Hetchins. Or a Miller- Hetchins from David. Both better than a Butler - Hetchins..... ; ) Mark Stevens in misty frosty Ross-shire
