I have. Note, I'm no expert, just a guy who used one a few times. I think they probably aren't great for heavy accumulations of grime. I was astounded at how good it was for getting spooge out of the tiny crevices you can never reach though. Stuff comes out cleaner than clean, in a surprisingly short time.

They usually use special solutions (mostly water with stuff added), and IIRC some aren't compatible with aluminum, so don't throw that early bumpy SR rear mech in there without asking what solution it has.
