While a childhood hoard/greed seed might tend to lead me to not want the world to know about something on which I was bidding, I think it's pretty great that these 'too-much-time-on-their-hands auction addicts are helping find these things that add the spice to ebay which tends to have otherwise too-boring bike stuff.
I have no time to browse, yet I'm staring at the' box' 7 hours a day mostly helping solve other peoples' 'situations' and providing lots of info, some of which might lead to some commerce, mostly locally, since I don't do much far-off-farming.
What people like Maasland do is pretty unselfish but I am sure they enjoy playing hero and friend.
I'd like them to also look for more of the funky off-list stuff too. I bought a 50's siren, some first-year Oakley grips, and other 'campy' accessories. Yes, the auction and collector world have their own interpretation of 'campy'
Anyway, here comes a live, warm body that might buy a powerbar or something. Gotta go. Thanks for 'looking out for us'
