I think it is important to understand the simple fact that on this list, people post about what they want to talk about. It is silly to blame the list members because the topics don't interest you.

I'd love it if people discussed racing in Italy and France in the 1930s, but it turns out I'm a majority of none.

And the "solution" has also been discussed here many times... use that delete key when the subject is of no interest to you.
