"The bottom line for me is in the ride quality and not who made the bike. Everyone has different requirements they look for in a bike and those that find all those requirements and qualities in one bike have found something special."
Mark Poore
This is very important. In our attempt to pay homage to buliders and houses we tend to overlook the individual nature of bikes. There are bikes from "lesser" makers, anonymous buliders and unknowns, that are well built and ride like a dream. They may be 1 in a 1000 but when a rider finds that perfect bike the result is sublime regardless who made it. At the same time a perfectly finished bike from a well respected builder just might not "feel" right. The way I see it, every bike is an individual, like humans, and should not be stereotyped by a label.
