We have a Jock Boyer signed jersey from the 1985 RAAM race he won hanging from the bike that was used for the accomplishment. He was riding for the Veltec/Boyer Tag Heuer team in 1985. A few of us became RAAM groupies and got a ride out to remote West Virginia and followed a mile or so back as he and Michael Secrest duked their way to Atlantic City. It ended in a sprint (in RAAM time, several hours apart) Although the RAAM has few if any monetary or marchandise prizes, one of them mentioned a personal $5k bet on the outcome.
The bike's a Vitus Carbon (a Veltec import at the time)
