The arms are pressed steel. It's an ok derailleur but Gian Robert didn't make
anything comparable to Campy Record or Zeus. My cynical answer is they made
junk and...worse junk. It came on bikes with straight gauge high carbon
tubing that sold for about $150 or so. Roughly equivalent to an entry level
Huret, but made in Italy.
