About Mike Barry, Steve Maasland writes:

"He is one of the main reasons why I got interested in bicycles in general and more specifically vintage bikes." "A delightful unassuming and straightforward gentleman. May he continue to be able to do something that he loves!"

I couldn't agree more. I too got my love of cycling partly from the folks at Bicyclesport and waited eagerly for the new catalogue to arrive each year. In the late-70s early-80s, Bicyclesport was a magic place and one I made an effort to visit each time I passed through Toronto on my way to and from college. I could never afford much there but I still have the wool Gianni shorts, the Adidas shoes, Bicyclesport panniers (now on my MTB) and water bottle which I purchased from them!!

Mike and the Bicyclesport staff really knew their stuff - who knows I may even have been served by Steve on one of my visits! Small world. I am glad to see that Mike is still doing what he loves and that he is now sharing his vintage collection - or some of it - with others.
