A symbol very similar to the head badge is now being used by the Lega Nord, the reactionary Northern populist political party in Italy that has been campaigning for separation from the taxation black hole that they claim to be Rome. Politics really do permeate all aspects of Italian life. First Balilla and now the Legnano headbadge.
