Question: when did hook bead rims start and how can you tell the differance? Is it a noticable difference? I have red labeled Rigda 13-19 rims and they have a bump along the edge that does not apear to be as large as a set of weinmanns ma 40's.

I have tires that are marked inflate to 90 psi for none hook beads and 105 for hook beads. I assuming that no matter what, a wire beaded tire will work. What happens with a kevlar or folding bead tire?
