Just to clarify something,

I'm fairly certain that the Universal centerpulls seen in the 70's as OEM were not Mod.61s. I have a single centerpull caliper that is mid 70's vintage and it just has UNIVERSAL on the front arm, no model designation. The casting shape may well be derived from the 61 but the branding is different. Also interestingly the washers under the pivot bolts are red and silver, not the blue and silver seen on the 61s and 68s. Perhaps red was to designate OEM stuff? Just speculating.
