It sounds like a Bottechia "Professional" from about 1970ish. I have a deep blue one that is very pretty IMO. It is SP tubing (in a 60cm size) and requires a 27.0 seat pin.

IIRC, there were a couple versions available, depending on whether you wanted "full Campagnolo" or not....

Mine has the gold foil Columbus decal on the upper part of the seat tube. Perhaps yours was lost over the years?
