Last night whilst doing the holiday shopping I "coincidentally" wound through Dave Perry's neighborhood and wouldn't you know it, they had a frame just my size. I also happened to meet Josh Berger when I was standing next to him and he asked Dave whether this guy who posted his intention to visit Bikeworks on the CR list ever showed up. In any case, this will be my third Raleigh Professional (I"m not keeping them all I'm just trying to find the one I want to keep) in the last month or so and the most unusual I've seen since Raleighs have caught my fancy. Here's a link to the pictures of it:

The lugs are interesting and so is the fact that it came with eyelets on the fork ends. My first thought was that it was an International painted up like a Professional but the telltale fastback seat stay says Pro all the way. Most of the Professionals I've seen have elegant but plain lugwork by comparison and none has the eyelets but then again I think I've only seen models from '74 on. Does anyone know whether the '72 (which this one is) bikes all came like this or is this one just plain old different? Thanks all.
