Oh la la.. Boys and girls, we are going to have sooo much fun at this next "Cirque! We are expanding and enhancing the event just for you!

You had better put May 2, 3 & 4, 2003 in the "serious, don't-mess-with-me reservation category" as you will be very unhappy with yourself if you miss it!

So here's a few tidbits...

New Friday goings-on ...see the schedule copied below. Saturday's seminars will begin with a panel discussion featuring all the weekends invited speakers, who will also do individual talks... I will be able to announce the full slate of "presenters" soon and the folks who have agreed to speak will really impress you! They will have perhaps 5 or 6 questions sent ahead to them to contemplate and then talk about that day on the panel. In fact, I am trying to think up good questions now, like maybe "Is the role of the artisan irrelevant in today's bicycle?" or "How does aesthetics weigh in as compared to function?" (I am not sure I like those, maybe you have a good question? Le me know your ideas.)

Other new stuff: - New reception, ride and "social" gathering on Friday. - Ken Toda will have a manned "photo studio" set up Sunday to take pics of the bike show class winners plus pro shots of your special bike if you so desire... - We have 2 great new restaurants in the works for food, drink, etc., on Friday and Saturday nights. - The Sunday road rides will start an hour earlier so as not to squeeze folks as badly who want to be on time for the opening of the swap meet. - Lower entry fees for the Sunday road ride..

I made a few corrections and tweaks of the early version of the event brochure which was distributed at Chuck's Velo Rendezvous snd at Interbike; the final version should be printed in a week or so ...if you would like to have one sent via snail mail, please contact me. Of course the web site also will have all the same info. Cirque du Cyclisme
