The Prologue frame was only made in one batch. I think perhaps by National in 1986/87. (Just outside our timeline) They were lugged with Tange Prestige tubing. They came in two colors. A red and white fade or a charcoal fade. Available in the usual Schwinn 2 inch increments from 19 to 25 maybe? They also made a time trial version that took a 24 inch front wheel. That was available in two sizes 21 or 23.
They fell in the lineup just under the Paramount. Very nice frame but I found the tubing to be a bit too flexible for my taste.
When I went to work at the LBS in 1989 Schwinn was selling the last of them on closeout for $200.

Lastly, I inherited the Prologue and have put a lot of miles on it over the last 4 years. Its been good to me. Does anyone know anything about that frame?
Thanks!
